I love, love, love old buildings, even if they’re not in good shape or in use anymore. I really appreciate people who take the time to research and document the way things were and then share their findings with the rest of us. People such as David Kohrman from www.forgottendetroit.com

The beautiful interior of MCD.
I love abandoned places of all sorts, located anywhere. They always make me ask the same questions.
WHEN was the place built?
WHEN was it abandoned?
WHO built it?
WHO all lived there?
HOW and WHY did it come to be abandoned?
WHAT was life like there and in those days?
WHERE did everyone go?
I love buildings, especially older buildings, buildings with lots of character or abandoned buildings. I like them all.
One of the most beautiful lighthouses on Cape Cod is Nobska Light in The Woods Hole
